Lawbear is a Swiss legal and regulatory boutique providing tailored legal services for financial services providers, technology firms and entrepreneurs of tomorrow in Switzerland and the EU.

Lawbear is created and managed by Björn Flückiger in 2025. Björn (Swedish for “bear”) is a legal & regulatory expert with a unique business acumen in the digital finance, web3 & fintech space.

Prior to founding Lawbear AG, Björn held various senior positions in the financial sector, both in the private and public sector. Notably, Björn was Head Legal and Member of the Executive Committee at SIX Digital Exchange AG (SDX). In this role, he was responsible for all legal & regulatory matters concerning SDX as a FINMA-supervised CSD and stock exchange. Further, Björn was Head of Legal Services & Regulatory Affairs of Crypto Finance AG, a FINMA-supervised Swiss securities firm and part of Deutsche Boerse Group. Earlier in his career, Björn was also part of the Digital Transformation Legal unit of UBS (Director, 2020 - 2022) as well as the Fintech-Desk of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA (Senior Legal & Policy Specialist, 2015 - 2020) that Björn helped build and operationalize. He also worked for FINMA's Enforcement division (Associate, 2013 - 2015) prior to his innovation-related work.
